I always look for The Story when making art. My newest series, "Narrative Dolls" tell that story in human form.

The Narrative Dolls use excavated antique German doll parts that have been dug up from the grounds of abandoned doll factories. Most are over one hundred years old!

I also use vintage rhinestone jewelry and carefully scavenged scraps of ephemera.

Each doll tells a story - of humor, survival, struggle and love.

Part of the series are Ornament Angel Dolls.
They celebrate and personify LOVE, JOY, MERCY, GRACE...

The paper Narrative Dolls fold to the ATC size (Artist Trading Card, 2.5" x 3.5"). Using playing cards as the base, I alter them and make paper dolls, each with their own personality. ATC stands for Artist Trading Cards.
